1. Description of Service

iLoveMarked is a free, open-source, browser-based utility that converts Markdown-syntax text into Unicode-styled text for use in LinkedIn posts. All processing happens locally in your browser. There is no server backend, no user accounts, and no data transmission.

2. License

The iLoveMarked source code is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software, provided the copyright notice and license text are included in all copies or substantial portions.

3. Permitted Use

You may use iLoveMarked for personal and commercial content creation, including but not limited to writing LinkedIn posts, technical articles, and multilingual content. You are solely responsible for the content you create. You agree not to use the Service to produce content that:

—Violates any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.
—Infringes upon any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
—Is defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
—Constitutes spam, phishing, or misleading commercial communication.

4. Your Content

Since iLoveMarked is entirely client-side, all text you type or save remains on your own device. We make no claim over any content you create using this tool. You retain full ownership and responsibility for your content.

5. No Affiliation with LinkedIn

iLoveMarked is an independent, community-built tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to LinkedIn Corporation or Microsoft Corporation. "LinkedIn" is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn's own Terms of Service govern what content you may publish on their platform.

6. Accessibility Notice

iLoveMarked converts text to Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols (e.g., 𝗔 for bold A). These are Unicode characters, not semantic HTML elements. Screen readers may not announce them as "bold" or "italic". Please use this tool thoughtfully, particularly in professional contexts where accessibility matters.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes but is not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of conversion output, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future versions of any third-party platform including LinkedIn.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iLoveMarked and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service loads resources from Tailwind CSS CDN, jsDelivr (Marked.js), Google Fonts, and Google Analytics 4. These providers operate under their own Terms of Service, and we are not responsible for their availability, conduct, or service changes. Google Analytics collects anonymous aggregate metrics (page views, visitor country) under Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time by updating this page and revising the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
